Hello and happy December! 

As we wrap up 2025, the Realeyes team is reflecting on the year behind and gearing up for 2026. On the way to the annual goal of 100,000, together we have educated 35,000 Ohio students about the importance of healthy vision. That number wouldn’t be possible without all of you and your dedication to the Realeyes mission. Thank you for your time and support! 

As you can see, we still have a long way to go to reach our annual goal. Please consider supporting Realeyes through the following ways: 

• Watch our new video detailing how to set up a health or career fair table. Realeyes presenters have participated in back-to-school nights, parties in the park, various holiday celebrations, and numerous career fairs. Where could you go to publicize your practice and spread eye education?  

• One sure fire way of being invited into school classrooms is when the eye professional reaches out directly to an educator. We’ve made it easy for you with templates you personalize and get directly to local teachers, nurses, or scout leaders.

• Looking for open requests in your area? The requests list has moved here: Zone/Zoom Requests and will be updated monthly. Both Zoom and in-person presenting opportunities will be found here. 

• The Realeyes training schedule is located here. Along with one full training, there are multiple chances for presenters to get a training or refresher on specific programs. 

• Several practices in past years have used the Journey Through an Exam packet as a bonus for children in your office. These along with the Sammy Safe-Eyes packet are a great way for families to pass the time while waiting for an appointment or take home and learn more about their eyes. If your office stash is running low or you would like to start offering the packets, please contact us at realeyes@ooa.org.
